SkyRecall is an assistant with long-term memory. That means it deliberately remembers what you tell it, and that is the whole point of the product. So this page doesn't hedge: below is exactly what we store, where it lives, who it is sent to, how long it is kept, and how you delete it.

The most important thing, stated first: your conversation content is sent to Google's servers to generate answers, and to ElevenLabs when you turn on read-aloud. We do not run language models ourselves. If that isn't acceptable to you, please don't use this service.

1. What we store

Account

You sign in with Google. We store the email address and display name Google returns, only so you can tell which account you are signed in as and so we can tell accounts apart. We never receive or store your Google password.

Conversation content

Every message you send and every answer the assistant gives is stored against your account. Without it there is no History screen, and the assistant cannot remember anything.

What the assistant works out about you

In the background, the assistant distils your conversations into things worth keeping long-term: relationships, habits, work, preferences, how you like to be helped. Each is stored as its own line. This is its "memory".

You can read that entire list on the "What your assistant remembers" screen, and delete any line at any time. This is a deliberate difference: a memory you cannot inspect is a memory you do not control.

Files you upload

If you attach a file to hand work over, that file is kept in object storage and is reachable only by your account. See section 3 for where it lives.

Usage counts

Number of messages, characters read aloud, model calls, used for limits and costs. These are numbers, not content.

Server logs

The server records timestamps, which endpoints were called, and errors. They are kept for 14 days and then deleted. These logs do not contain your message content.

2. Who your data is sent to

We do not sell your data to anyone. But for the service to work, some of it passes through these third parties:

Google: generating answers and searching memory

Your conversation content, together with the remembered items relevant to your question, is sent to Google (Gemini) to generate an answer. Separately, each question and each remembered item is turned into a numeric vector (an embedding), also by Google, so the right things can be found again later.

ElevenLabs: reading answers aloud

When you turn on "Read aloud", the text of the answer is sent to ElevenLabs to synthesise speech. With read-aloud off, nothing is sent to ElevenLabs. Not less, none.

Your browser: speech recognition

When you tap the microphone, speech recognition is done by your browser, not by our servers. On Chrome that means the audio is sent to Google's speech service by the browser's own mechanism. We never receive the audio, only the text your browser hands back.

Payment partners

When you pay, the transaction goes through the relevant payment channel (bank transfer, or a blockchain network for USDT). We never receive or store your card number.

3. Where your data lives

The database and application server are in Vietnam. Files you upload are stored in object storage in Singapore. Google and ElevenLabs process data on their own infrastructure, which may be outside either country.

4. How long it is kept

5. Your rights, and how to use them right now

6. Security

Every connection to the service uses HTTPS. Every data query is filtered by the signed-in account, taken from the session rather than from a parameter the browser sends. The Windows app talks to the server only through the API, and never connects directly to the database.

No system is perfectly secure. We would rather say that than promise a guarantee nobody can keep.

7. Children

The service is not intended for anyone under 16.

8. Changes

If anything material changes, especially who your data is sent to, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect, rather than quietly editing this page and calling it done.

9. Contact

Any question about your data: skyrecall@gmail.com.
